So James and I are about 1/3 of the way to our new home (had to stop early, due to bad weather), but there are some perks....
I just ate the best pasta I have ever had in my life, cooked by an 87-year-old Italian lady, who has been cooking at this restaurant with her family since 1967.
So if your ever going thru St.Louis, make sure you stop by Agostino's.....Don't forget to wear a tie!
Now, we're gonna have a long day of driving ahead of us, but with any luck, we'll reach Charlotte tomorrow!
Incidentally, cruising down the highway sing Disney Toons and Weird Al Yankovic at the top of your lungs is super fun!

It's been a litte bit....
And yet, I've been drawing, every single day, without fail, and just haven't posted. I've mostly been doing a lot of character design for a personal side project dealing with some fairy tales...I've always been fascinated by them, and my husband and I got to talking one day, and came across this marvelous idea....
So now we're trying to make it a reality. I posted up B.J. today, and will probably post up 1-2 more while James and I are finalizing the draft/script over the next couple months. The rest will follow after, as a sort of Promo-bump, and previous ones will be released in color. I hope you enjoy!
I know most of what I've posted
A 5 mph tour of Kentucky....
So, after several road delays, James and I succeeded in getting moved in, (and finally have the internet), and now I can post up this journal I've been sitting on, and tell the tale of our protracted road trip.
So, bright and squirrel-y on a chilly Tuesday morning, Adam, James and I set out,in search of adventure, and the great unknown! Maybe not so bright and squirrel-y....in fact, it might have been around 11....or 12.....(I do believe I married in to a very lovable family who are incapable of leaving for ANYWHERE on time, although there was a delay involving a frozen water pipe, and a stupid trailer hitch, but that is just BORING). But
So much going on!
Whoo-hoo!
So, James and I have turned in our two weeks at our current job, and are packing to move to North Carolina!!! I've already got a job lined up, and have a move in date for our new apt! Gotta say, I don't think I'm going to miss Kansas and its unpredictable weather....but, all our friends...big shout out to all of them, I will miss all you so much.
Looking forward so much to this move, can't wait to see Mom and Dad again! Btw, big thank you there as well, this move would not have been possible without them!

That said, for all you here on dA, expect things to be a little crazy f
Going to (and have been) busy....
...But I will keep trying to post stuff up. I know I've been a little rotten about it lately, but I'll try to do better. Starting with posting up 3 new items. Right now. Enjoy!

Also, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas/New Years!

I've recently taken up a bit (a lot) of an interest in Native American Warbonnets, and am getting the creative itch...might be something of that persuasion coming through the pipeline....Incidentally, turk

Safe travels! It's fairly clear here in Charlotte, so you shouldn't hit any adverse weather here.
